Position: IT Security Engineer

Employment Type: Contract (8 Months)

Compensation: AED 15,000 per month

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Security Engineer for one of our esteemed clients in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's security posture across various domains including email security, web applications, and client environments. This role requires hands-on experience in Security Operations, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Email Security Solutions, along with strong client engagement and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer and optimize Email Security tools to ensure protection against phishing, spam, and malware.
2. Configure and maintain Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for safeguarding online applications.
3. Work closely with clients, providing timely updates, support, and strategic inputs.
4. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
5. Prepare regular reports and documentation on security incidents, system status, and improvement plans.

Skills & Expertise Required:

1. Proven experience in Security Operations, WAF configuration, and Email Security platforms
2. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and incident response
3. Excellent communication and client management skills
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
5. Strong documentation and reporting skills
